Dr. Thomas Phipps

Dr. Phipps specializes in both Internal Medicine and Orthopedic Sports Medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The Ohio State University and then went on to graduate studies in Respiratory Therapy at The Ohio State University School of Allied Health Professions. Following this, he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship & Residency at the Mt. Sinai affiliate Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ and his Fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) affiliate Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ.

Prior to joining Mulberry Integrative Medicine, Dr. Phipps has been active as a team physician for both high school and collegiate athletes in both New Jersey and Florida including being one of the team physicians for Stetson University in Deland, FL and several high schools in the Central Florida area. He has volunteered as Medical Team Physician for the New York City Marathon as well as the Special Olympics. He is the previous Program Director of the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at New York Medical College where he served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Sports Medicine & Ambulatory Medicine.

Dr. Phipps is excited to bring his passion for helping his patients get back to a healthy and safe lifestyle here at Mulberry Integrative Medicine. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his daughter, traveling, food, wine, and outdoor activities.
